Overview

The individual in this position is responsible for growing viewership of, membership in and traffic to our websites through the development of superior content.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • Property & casualty insurance coverage and markets knowledge with excess & surplus lines industry experience.
  • Writing/journalism skills and interest.
  • Prefer someone with teaching experience within the insurance industry.

Responsibilities and Assignments:

  • Write articles of interest to property & casualty agents and brokers on risk assessment, insurance coverages, active markets, underwriting, marketing, sales, pricing, risk placement and account management.
  • Acquire, edit and post articles and commentaries from contributing writers on topics of reader interest.
  • Topical news commentary - following up on news (general events, court decisions, calamities, celebrities, etc.) by interviewing and writing up the insurance angle or questions raised by the news.

Location:

The individual in this position may work from home or at corporate headquarters located in San Diego, CA.
